All our operatives are responsible for their own personal safety although
the main contractor is responsible for providing safe areas of work.
All our employees are trained in safety matters relative to our line of
work.
All employees have the responsibility to cooperate with the supervisors
and managers to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and to take reasonable
care of themselves and others.
Whenever and employee, supervisor or manager notices a health or safety
problem which they are not able to put right, they must straightaway tell
the appropriate person. They must also tell a safety representative if there
is one.
Where there are no First Aid facilities on site, the employees carry a
First Aid kit in their van. All accidents will be reported to main
contractor.
Where necessary, i.e. using heating cabinets, our operatives will provide
fire protection, i.e. fire extinguishers. However, general fire requirements
we would normally expect to be carried out by main contractor.
The names of all operatives will be issued to main contractor on a daily
basis.
Hazard data sheets on all our materials are held on file, copies will be
provided as necessary.
All empty cartridges will be removed from site or to a skip provided by
main contractor.
